My recent overnight stay at Rose Marie Guest House was nothing short of exceptional! Very central. Dog friendly- no charge. Homely. Nice big bed and room. Room just inside, great for the dog. Although we didn't use there was a fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery enough to warm up a meal and eat in. Wetherspoons- a decent one- 3 mins' walk away. Host very pleasant and welcoming. A very good breakfast- freshly cooked, very filling. On street parking very near. Convenience stores and take away eateries only a minute away. A pleasant park next to the college just over the road. We will use again when on the area. Excellent value for money.

Everything. Felt homely and friendly. It was wonderful to be greeted by a welcoming hostess, who immediately offered to change my room to ground floor when she saw I walked with a walking stick, ( in contrast to fiddling with anonymous key boxes and code numbers sent by email or text to gain entry to booked accommodation in Nottingham). The generous cooked Irish/ English breakfast was lovely and filled me up for the day. Parking availability close by. Warm room and comfortable bed. Ensuite bathroom. Excellent wifi. Walking distance to shopping centre.

Stayed in Room 1 in this wonderful guesthouse near to Peterborough city centre, about a 10 minute walk. Large double bed in a spacious ground floor room. Ensuite bathroom with good shower, sink and toilet, bathmat and free toilet paper and soap provided. Small bin in bathroom. Towels included in room. Bed had lots of pillows, sheet and duvet. Carpet on floor in room, small wardrove, desk with draws for storing clothes, towels etc. Good, free WiFi. Multi-plug socket bar near bed. Free tea/coffee with milk and sugar provided in room. One chair in room. One radiator on wall and extra plug-in heater in room. Wonderful, caring hosts. Was able to wash clothes. Full English/Irish cooked breakfast included in price. Keys to both room and building door. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Would stay again.

The full English breakfast was a very good start to the day and cooked to order / freshly made. Great location only 7-10mins walk into the main shopping area and beautiful cathedral / cathedral square. The bedroom had tea making facilities as well as microwave and fridge freezer. Staff was welcoming and even gave me several hours extra parking after I had checked out. A simple old fashioned B&B with good standards. Will certainly return.

Very central to everything. Breakfast was more than adequate each morning and the staff were very friendly. Room I had was a single room on the 1st floor and had everything I needed such as tea, coffee facilities along with a fridge and microwave which was an extra bonus.

Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Peterborough was delightful. Kevin, the welcoming Irish owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. His delicious Irish breakfasts were a highlight, and chatting with him was a pleasure. The spacious, well-kept rooms provided a comfortable retreat. Excellent location for walking into Peterborough. The room was well provided with a fridge, microwave and necessary cutlery and crockery if needed. Lovely fluffy towels. Large comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Bright sunny room.

The owner of the place and his worker (the one I met) are very friendly and helpful. The room for very low cost has a small fridge, cettle, cups and plates. There is no doubt that they are doing their best to give the best service.
